Some of the best childhood memories revolve around the long days full of sunshine, play time and friendships found at summer camp. With no homework and no worries, kids are free to enjoy all that vacation has to offer – and in McCall, Idaho, that happens to be an awful lot.

Camp Sharlie Shore Lodge Summer CampOur Camp Sharlie day camp is chock full of activities everyday ranging from adventurous to educational. So far this summer, campers have enjoyed everything from golfing to boating, and from arts to hiking. Every day there is a new adventure and some unexpected surprises seem to find their way to us. Recently, the group set out for a hike and came across a lake with an abundance of frogs and tadpoles swimming about. Under the guidance of our trained staff, campers were able to wade in the water and get up close to these cute creatures. “It was an unplanned stop on our journey but was a lot of fun while being a bit educational, too” explained Camp Sharlie Coordinator Ashley Gowing. “Fun little surprises happen like this on a regular basis; it keeps it exciting.”

For the month of August, the excitement continues with a busy month full of activities including whitewater rafting, horseback riding and wake surfing, just to name a few. For the full lineup, click here to see the Camp Sharlie August 2014 calendar.

Camp is held Tuesday through Sunday through August 24th. Pricing options include $60 for a full day, $40 for a half day or $99 for two days. For more information and to sign up, contact concierge services at 208.630.0274 or contact Camp Coordinator Ashley Gowing at agowing@shorelodge.com.
