Double-Room1

Originally built in 1948 it is safe to say that Shore Lodge has seen a number of transformations over our 65+ years in operation. From the expansion of the Marina to the addition of The Cove, and everything in between, it’s been an exciting evolution here at 501 Lake St. Now, our latest update has come in the form of a full property room renovation, giving Shore Lodge a serious upgrade and stunning new look.

From September – December 2013 we overhauled each of the 77 rooms in stages as to not shut down the entire resort at once. For those of you who visited during this time, thank you for pardoning our dust! For those who haven’t been to Shore Lodge since before the renovation began, it’s time to c’mon back and see the exciting changes.

The new look of the guestrooms better blends with the warm, naturally-inspired feel of the lodge. We drew inspiration from the McCall’s luxurious mountain homes and the authentic spirit of our beloved town to create an environment we feel is warm and inviting with a connection to the great outdoors. Deep purples, grays and browns accent woods and natural textures to seamlessly blend into those iconic panoramic mountain-lake views. Since we know it’s all about the scenery here, our design team opted to make the much sought-after views even grander by replacing the metal and wood railings with an all glass partition. Other additions to the rooms include rustic sliding barn doors to separate the living and sleeping quarters as well as finishes such as brushed copper, deep green marble and carpeting featuring a tree-inspired print to complete the natural, yet sophisticated, ambiance.

Other awesome updates? New headboards with built-in reading lights and nightstands and end tables equipped with power outlets so getting down on the floor to plug in phones and small electronics is no longer necessary.  Forty-six inch flat screen HD TVs supplement the 32” units already in each suite and now feature programming by DirecTV’s state-of-the-art “Residential Experience” hospitality solution. New mattresses an upgraded linens also make for an extra comfortable night’s sleep.

Technical system upgrades include new in-room HVAC units with an updated energy management system and innovative Saflok RFID door locks for added security and peace of mind for guests. For a full list of updates, get the full story from Yahoo! Finance.
