Sledding at the Activity Barn
Discover one of the best snow tubing areas in America with a lift that will whisk you to the top of the hill and offer beautiful views of Brundage Mountain. A tubing hill of over 700 feet with a vertical drop of 85 feet brings you down in classic tubing style. The entire family can get into snow tubing, and you don’t need prior experience. For those who like to have their fun a little later in the day, night tubing is available. The McCall Activity Barn is located on at 141 Moonridge Drive, just South of McCall!
Skiing at Brundage Mountain
Brundage Mountain isn’t known as The Best Snow In Idaho™ for nothing. With its amazing variety of terrain and great powder (and did we mention the 68 trails), it is a must-do for snow bunnies and beginners alike. Wide-groomed runs are on the Frontside and Lakeview zones, with the Easy Street learning area ensuring the newbies aren’t forgotten.
Snowshoeing and Exploring Payette National Forest
If skiing doesn’t quite trip your trigger, snowshoeing is a great way to explore the great outdoors without needing skis or a track. It’s also a great way to ‘get off the beaten path’ for a little something to shake up your winter itinerary. A variety of terrain in the Payette National Forest allows you to choose the intensity of your workout.
Mid-week Access to The Cove
When you need some rest and rejuvenation from the rigors of winter play, The Cove delivers. Ice Skating Rink in Town

2023 Winter Carnival
If you time your winter adventure to McCall just right, take part in the 10-day party celebrating all things winter. Come the latter part of January, visitors can take their pick of festivities, daily activities, and just pure fun. Parades, live music, snow sculptures, snow bike races, comedy shows, and so much more occur during the McCall Winter Carnival.
