The resort has many ways to unwind, but our favorite place, sans the under-18 crowd, is The Cove, an authentic McCall spa. Open seven days a week, guests can choose from various spirited massages, nourishing facials, and soothing body treatments. What really sets our spa apart is the two heated salt-water immersion pools forged from 68,000 pounds of local boulders. Enjoy a relaxing soak before or after your treatment in either our indoor or outdoor pool, or both.
And for those seeking a more romantic setting, The Cove offers couples massages, allowing you to enjoy a massage with your partner in their adjacent treatment room.
For the Kids – Adventures at The Tank and Beyond
Kids of all ages can indulge in endless entertainment at Shore Lodge, starting with our analog room, The Tank. With a 2,000-gallon fish tank filled with tropical marine life, The Tank features classic board games, a foosball table, giant connect-four, and more – making it the perfect haven for our younger guests to hang out.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. Make a splash in our large outdoor heated pool, open year-round, to engage in a friendly game of Marco Polo or an underwater tea party. There’s no lifeguard on duty, so make sure you have a grown-up with you when you’re ready to take that dip!

With its warm setting and inviting ambiance, grandparents can find a comfortable place to sit at The Bar and take in the picturesque views of Payette Lake and the Salmon River Mountains. The menu includes seasonal cocktails and casual delights like our Spinach & Artichoke Dip or Bar Burger and offers a daily Happy Hour from 3-6pm. After dinner, put on your coats and head outdoors for complimentary s’mores by the fire pit. Toast marshmallows to golden perfection and sink your teeth into a chocolatey treat that will delight the young and young at heart.
