September 2025

We don’t know about you, but we think seasonal changes require palate changes to get the most out of the season. But so much more than just pumpkin lattes and hot toddies. Summertime’s curtain call is clearly in focus, and the stars of fall and winter have started their march to center stage. With newcomers like Autumn Manhattan, Hot Apple Jerry, and Pink Snowflake, we are left asking, “What’s in a Name?”

Sorry, Shakespeare fans. We love Romeo and Juliet, too, but we really wanted to know what ingredients are behind these names, and we figured you did as well. Read more as we go behind the curtain with each new cocktail on this season’s list.

Explore Our Fall Cocktail Menu

We decided to raise the bar this year. Pun intended. While our beloved Huckletini and Shore Fashioned are here to stay (because how could they not?), our new cocktail lineup starting 10.02.25 is here to provide you with anything but basic cocktails.

Autumn Manhattan

Dark and unapologetically elegant, the Autumn Manhattan is our moody nod to the classic. But with a Shore Lodge twist. Crafted with our exclusive Knob Creek Shore Lodge Private Barrel Rye, St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram, chocolate bitters, and Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth, this cocktail is a masterclass in depth and sophistication. It’s the kind of drink that turns heads and earns them.

Toasted Russian

We said it last year, and we’ll say it again: coffee and cocktails are the new bread and butter. And this year, we wanted to take it up a notch. Think of the Toasted Russian as a hazelnut mocha latte with a boozy twist, making it the perfect Sunday Brunch cocktail. Crafted with Stoli Vodka, Kahlúa, Frangelico, and half and half, it’s smooth, nutty, and indulgent.

Hot Apple Jerry

Fall here may surprise you. One minute it’s golden leaves, and the next it’s the first dusting of snow. And when the chill hits, the Hot Apple Jerry is your après-ski (or après-hike) go-to. Prepared with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, DeKuyper Peach Schnapps, cinnamon syrup, lemon juice, honey simple syrup, and hot apple cider, it’s comfort in a cup.

Jamaican Spiced Mule

Our Jamaican Me Crazy cocktail was THE summer hit, and it felt too soon to say goodbye. So naturally, we gave it a fall makeover instead. The Jamaican Spiced Mule keeps the tropical vibes alive, but has that seasonal flair. Prepared with Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, ginger beer, cinnamon syrup, and lime juice, it’s the perfect balance of island warmth and autumn spice.

Pomegranate Gin Fizz

Don’t let the bright pink color mislead you. Even though visually our Pomegranate Gin Fizz looks like it may have snuck its way onto our fall cocktail menu, this silky and aromatic cocktail is perfect for fall. Crafted with Hendrick’s Gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, egg white, pomegranate juice, and rosemary, its fruity and citrusy elements are definitive to autumn and winter.

Peanut Butter Coffee Cup

“Leave room for dessert,” they say. But what if dessert is your cocktail? The Peanut Butter Coffee Cup is a liquid peanut butter mocha dream. Sweet, chocolatey, creamy, and kissed with whiskey warmth. Crafted with Screwball Peanut Butter Whiskey, crème de cacoa, Kahlúa, coffee, whipped crème, and chocolate, it’s the after-dinner treat you didn’t know you needed.

Pink Snowflake

It wouldn’t be a seasonal cocktail lineup without some holiday sparkle. And we’re no strangers to highlighting peppermint. The Pink Snowflake is festive, creamy, and just the right amount of peppermint. Prepared with Absolut Vanil, Rumple Minze, Grenadine, half and half, and crushed candy cane, the holiday celebrations are starting early this year!

And if you’re keeping it spirit-free, don’t worry. Our Spicy No-Paloma and Cucumber Mock-jito are still on the menu, bringing all the flavor without the buzz.

Culinary Finds

Fall in McCall is more than signature craft cocktails. It’s about warm, hearty bites that embody the season, too. When it comes to ingredients that truly capture this time of year, apples take center stage. And for those cozy, shareable moments? Our rich, melty fondue is the perfect pairing.

Cider-Infused Apple Empanada

You’ve probably heard the saying, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Well, around here, we prefer: “A Cider-Infused Apple Empanada keeps the worries away.” In celebration of National Apple Month this October, our Pastry Chef is spotlighting the local apple harvest with a limited-time sweet treat. Available only in October at The Bar and The Cutwater on Payette Lake, this warm hand pie is filled with mini candy apples, salted caramel, and popcorn for a sweet, salty, and satisfyingly crunchy bite.

Three Cheese Fondue

Trust us, we know. Double-dipping is a no-no. But for our Three-Cheese Fondue, we won’t tell if you don’t. In celebration of National Fun with Fondue Month this November, our Three-Cheese Fondue returns to The Bar’s menu for a limited time. Featuring melted Fontina, Gruyere, and Provolone, and served with fingerling potatoes, celery, radish, and garlic sourdough bread, double dipping is basically required.
