On The Water Adventures
With the countless opportunities for relaxing adventures outside your door, the marina is the perfect place to start. With direct access to Payette Lake, guests can make waves with our kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals or sunbathe in our private beach area for a more leisurely activity. A day out on Payette Lake guarantees sunny rays that supplement you with vitamin D, relief of any built-up tension, and a boost in your overall happiness.
Breath In, Breath Out
This summer, hotel guests can join us at our Yoga on The Docks program every Tuesday and Saturday at 8:30am. With the infinite list of physical and mental benefits of yoga, partake in our 30-minute yoga sessions, and experience a steady increased heart rate and blood flow, lower blood pressure, and reduced stress levels. Our outdoor yoga class will truly reconnect you with the nature surrounding Shore Lodge.
All levels are welcome to participate, and yoga mats are available on a first-serve first-come basis. After class, head to The Coffee Shop for a soothing cup of tea or a yogurt parfait to round out a healthy morning.
Discovering New Heights
Approximately eight miles from Shore Lodge is Brundage Mountain Resort – THE destination for avid skiers during the winter. However, throughout the summer, explore unprecedented heights and experience a scenic chairlift ride up the mountain to relish the natural beauty McCall has to offer from a bird’s-eye view.
At the top, spot iconic landmarks from Payette Lake to Long Valley to even Oregon’s Blue Mountains on a clear and sunny day. Once you’ve embraced the scenic greenery, lush green valleys, and mountain peaks, ascend down the lift or hike to truly appreciate the views.
Farm to Table
The McCall Farmers’ Market returns each summer, offering the best locally grown produce, premium meats, homemade crafts, and delectable sweets. The market is open every Wednesday and Saturday from 11am – 1pm near the Activity Barn at 141 Moonridge Dr. Join our local farmers, ranchers, bakers, and artisans to indulge in succulent berries, tastiest veggies, dulcet honey, and more, all while supporting our local economy.
Deep Soak
We couldn’t talk about wellness and not mention The Cove, an authentic McCall spa located at Shore Lodge. While other spas talk about a state of Zen and align themselves with Eastern decor, The Cove takes inspiration from its natural surroundings. With a one-hour treatment at the spa, guests can enjoy a soak in the indoor and outdoor immersion pools, inspired by Idaho’s natural hot springs. These heated saline pools are sure to cure what ails you 365 days a year. And when the weather gets chilly, the radiant heated stones surrounding the outdoor immersion pools keep your feet toasty!
